CONSTRUCTION OF WHIRLPOOLS

Century Marble's whirlpool/tubs are a composition of approximately 80% refined marble (granite or onyx) combined with  polyester resin and color pigments.   Tub surfaces are gel coated 20 mil. thick as compared to fiberglass and acrylic which is usually much less.  The Century gel  coat surface is highly stain resistant for long lasting durability and ease of maintenance.  The material is easily repairable and fire rated.  The product is3/4' thick and very dense, resulting in its being quieter than cast iron, fiberglass or acrylic, when  fitted with a whirlpool.

Your Century Marble whirlpool will. be a source of comfort and pleasure to you for years to come.  Our systems have been  designed for maximum therapeutic value each whirlpool is equipped with six to twelve hydrajets, a timer, one or two air controls, anti-vortex suction, and UL listed pump.  Before delivery, the whirlpool system is completely installed and water tested in our factory by trained personnel.

• Pump: Super-quiet3/4 or 1 1/2 horsepower, self-priming, self-lubricating, and UL listed. Pump stand is foam insulated from the ground to eliminate vibrations and sonic damage to floors or tile.
• Timer: A 30 minute wall-mount timer is standard on all whirlpools. At the end of the pre-set time the action ceases automatically.  For even more convenience, an optional deck mount switch is offered (with or without special water level sensor).
• Piping: The piping system is constructed of rigid, schedule 40 P.V.C. pipe which has been tested and is a top performer.
• Connections: Whirlpool system joints are bonded with a special welding solvent that creates watertight joints adding to the integrity of the total unit.
